The American Association of Poison Control Centers released new data which shows that poisoning incidents involving e-cigarettes and liquid nicotine have increased by 156% in the past year (an increase of more than 14 times since 2011). Over half of the calls involved a child under the age of six. A child’s death last month in New York was attributed to nicotine poisoning.
