For Parents & Teachers

It’s been around for over a decade, but vaping’s popularity exploded in 2014, becoming the #1 tobacco product used by U.S. youth. Vaping, or JUULing (named after a popular vape device called JUUL), is the inhalaing and exhaling of an aerosol produced using a vape device.

In 2018, more than 3.6 million U.S. youth, including 1 in 5 high school students and 1 in 20 middle school students, currently use e-cigarettes. With advertising geared toward teens and young adults, devices designed to be easily concealed as a USB-drive, and thousands of flavors to choose from, the expectation is that growth will continue.

We are here to help! Below are some useful resources to help prevent (or treat) our youth before they develop a lifetime addiction to nicotine.
