On May 1, 2024 the Wichita Transit Facility went tobacco-free! Last year TFW staff members provided a resource fair for transit staff and riders regarding the policy update and gave important info regarding resources to stop smoking, including the Kansas Tobacco Quitline program. During the Fall of 2024 signage was placed around the facility and a designated smoking area was created.
