TFW Coalition has partnered with Mamarazzi Communications, LLC to on a maternal health communications campaign. We’re making progress and have some great partners at the table including KU Center for Research Infant Birth Services, Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition, Kansas Infant Death and SIDS Network (KIDS), Wichita Black Breastfeeding Coalition and Kansas Birth Justice Society. Health literacy materials are currently in development, incorporating many of the insights and considerations of partners at the Strategic Planning Session held in March.

Tobacco Free Wichita (TFW) Coalition and Mamarazzi Communications, LLC are now preparing to host Maternal Health interview sessions at the Wichita Foundation’s Elevate – A Community Lab (303 S. Broadway, Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67202).

Interview Details
Date: Friday, April 24
Time: Available between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (30-minute sessions)
Location: Elevate – A Community Lab

We are seeking participants who are:

• Expectant mothers
• Mothers who reduced or quit smoking/vaping during pregnancy
• Mothers who have quit smoking
• Moms who are currently breastfeeding/have breastfed
• Families who have experienced the loss of a child due to smoking-related SIDS
