TFW Coalition welcomes new staff
We are pleased to welcome Jan Chandler to the Tobacco Free Wichita Coalition team! Jan will be working part-time under the Kansas Prevention Collaborative Community Initiative (KPCCI) grant through KDADS. She will be utilizing the Strategic Prevention Framework with our coalition to identify tobacco prevention efforts with youth and/or young adults aged 18-24.
Jan brings a wealth of information of prevention science to the table and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. She has worked in community work and coalition building for nearly ten years and has implemented and evaluated substance use grants in the past from KDHE, KDADS, CDC, federal Drug Free Community program and more. We are excited to have her helping make Sedgwick County a healthier place!
