Kansas expands Nicotine Replacement Therapy through the Kansas Tobacco Quitline
Effective June 17, 2020, the Kansas Tobacco Quitline will expand its nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) offering through June 29th. This includes nicotine gum, lozenges or patches. All new phone or web participants who sign-up by 6/29 will be eligible for this offer. An order will be placed during their first coaching call/chat. Currently-enrolled participants are also eligible for an additional six weeks of NRT, even if a two-week NRT order has already been shipped. Combination therapy (a mix of patches, gum, or lozenges) is also an option.
As of July 1, 2020 – NRT offerings in Kansas will return to 2 weeks only for participants in the Behavioral Health program and/or have Medicaid identification number.
